Sebastian Lay Makes the Record Books

Senior Pitcher Sebastian Lay of Jackson-Milton High School has entered the OHSAA Baseball Record Books for consecutive scoreless innings pitch with 25 and 2/3 innings of scoreless baseball from April 5th to April 26th of 2018.  Sebastian during this streak picked up wins against Sebring, McDonald, Mineral Ridge and against McDonald again.  According to OHSAA records, he has tied Adam Schaly of Ashland High School who holds the #24th spot currently for most innings consecutive scoreless innings pitched.  The current record holder for this category is Derek Moore of Wheelersburgh high school who threw 71 and 2/3 innings of scoreless baseball with his record being set in 2012.
