IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear Blue Jay Family,
 
Here are a couple important updates.
 
In regards to CURRICULUM, it is very important for students in grades 3-12 check their school issued emails a couple times daily.
 
It is also important that students and parents to understand that students are expected to complete assignments as they will be used towards their grade. School work for students in K-2 will have their work placed in folders. These folders will be placed in the main entrance of each building and can be picked-up at anytime.
 
For students in 3-12 that do not have internet access or the use of a printer (if needed) there will be folders in the front lobby of their respective building.
 
PICK-UP OF ASSIGNMENTS WILL START ON MARCH 23, 2020 after 12:00 p.m.
 
Teachers will be in their rooms from 8:00-12:00 starting Monday, March 23rd to reply to emails and can be contacted by calling the school telephone number and entering the teacher’s extension number.
 
I want emphasize that the paperwork in the folders and the on-line assignments will need to be completed and returned as these assignments will be used for grades.
 
REGARDING MEALS
 
If a student is qualified as free or reduced, that student will be delivered breakfast and lunch meals on Monday and Thursday. Monday’s delivery will provide the student with breakfast and lunch for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Thursday’s delivery will be meals for Thursday and Friday. This is for students that are free or reduced and live within the district. If a student is free or reduced and lives outside of the Jackson-Milton area please email me and we will have your meals ready for pick-up.

PEPPERONI SALES
 
If you ordered pepperoni rolls off of Officer Sosnosky he will be here at the MS/HS on March 23rd from 8-4 for you to pick them up.
 
SPRING BREAK- There have been some questions regarding spring break and we have no plans to alter the original school calendar.
 
COVID-19. Please keep in mind that even though it was announced that we will be returning on April 6th it was also announced that it could last the rest of the school year. This is why it is important to have your child complete their assignments.
 
The guidelines are changing daily and we will have be flexible and change with them.
