Information About the Class of 2020 Graduation
On June 2nd the seniors of Jackson-Milton will have the opportunity to walk across the stage and receive their diplomas from the Jackson-Milton Board of Education. We understand the importance of this event and are permitting all seniors to have up to 3 family members to witness the event. Robert Senn will be here to take pictures as the students receive their diplomas.
Pictures/Video will be placed on a virtual presentation and presented to the community. All speeches and traditional commencement items will be pre-recorded for the presentation. The virtual commencement will be made available for our graduates and families to view on June 5th at 7 pm.
As part of the commencement presentation all seniors will be emailed a Powerpoint slide. Parents please edit the slide with a picture of your graduate and include a special message for your graduate. All slides need to be emailed back to Mr. Rotuna, email@example.com, by May 22nd.
The schedule for June 2nd is as follows:
5 pm – 6pm Anzivino- Fay
6 pm – 7 pm Firby- McDevitt
7pm- 8pm Meadows- Wortman
Social distancing guidelines will be adhered to at all times, when arriving at the school if there is a line of students waiting please remain in your car.
We know that these conditions are not perfect , but because we have to adhere to not only the Governors guidelines but also the guidelines released by the District Board of Health, we have created a plan that we hope is able to honor our seniors the best we can.
