The first graders in Corinne Tomaino’s class are small, but have big hearts. The class donated  more than 1,000 individual snack  to the Rescue Mission. The snacks are for kids staying at the Rescue Mission.

Ms. Tomaino’s class started collecting snacks in the beginning of February. Other classes at JMES also made donations.  An ambassador with the Rescue Mission came to JMES to thank students and talk to them about the Rescue Mission.

One student said donating snacks for kids is kind, and is glad he can help other kids.

Ms. Tomaino's class has been collecting snacks for kids at the Rescue Mission for several years.
