A portable touchless hand washing station is going to be the newest health and safety measure at Jackson-Milton Middle/High School.
The touchless hand washing station has four sinks equipped with soap and paper towels.
It will be set up in the cafeteria. Each station can do 120 hand washes in 10 minutes.
JM’s unit is portable, so it will also be used at sporting events.
The Quad-Sink Handwashing Station was designed and developed by Personal Protected, a company in New Middletown. Several schools in the area also have the Quad-Sink Hand Washing Station.
Funding for the unit is being provided by the Mahoning County Board of Commissioners through the 2020 Federal Cares Act Funding.
