COVID-19/Back to School 2020-2021

COVID-19/Back to School 2020-2021 Last Updated: 2/4/2021 5:16 PM

The Jackson-Milton Local School District  is planning for students to return for the 2020-2021 school year. We are excited to welcome students back into the school buildings, and also educate and make connections with our remote learners. In preparing to re-open, the district is following health and safety guidelines from the local/state health department, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

The following guidelines are to provide clear expectations of students and staff for the educational process for face-to-face traditional schooling and remote instruction. All and any orders from the Governor’s Office will supersede any aspect of the Reset-Restart plan by the Jackson-Milton Local School District. The plan is subject to change, and it's extremely important that all students, parents and staff members are prepared to go strictly to remote   online schooling at any time. All decisions will be based on the safety of all students and staff of the Jackson-Milton Local Schools.

Along with the district plan, buildings also have their own reopening plan. Please take some time to read over the plans. If you have any questions please contact your building principal.
