Dear Students, Parents, Staff and Jackson-Milton Community Members:
It is a great pleasure to serve you as a member of the Jackson-Milton School Board. I am very excited about all the great things happening in our schools every day!
I have been in the field of education for about 20 years. I have a BA in Psychology from Spring Arbor College, a BA in Education from Western, and a MA in Educational Leadership from Western Michigan University.
I have lived in the community with my family for most of my life. My parents are Dave and Pam Snowden and my sister is Kelly Abe. My husband Jim and I attended JM and we both graduated from the district. I am also a mother of four children. All of my children attend or have attended JM. Korie, Kent, Jake and Jack are the best job I have ever had! I take pride in playing an active role in their lives and in their education.
I am honored to serve on the school board. It is a privilege to be part of a community where teachers, parents, and students care for each other and work together to build positive relationships that support the social and academic growth of our students.
